The 2009 North Carolina Youth Giving Summit was held on Saturday, October 17th in Greensboro, NC. The theme of the 2009 Summit was "The Magic of Giving" as it showcases over 200 youth philanthropists from 25+ counties and how they transform NC communities through their passion, energy, innovation, creativity, and imagination (hence the logo). Once a year the entire statewide network of youth givers comes together for an unforgettable and one-of-a kind convening. Simply stated, the North Carolina Youth Giving Summit is unlike any other youth event throughout the SouthEast. One part youth leadership conference, one part dance club, and one part social networking frenzy, the Summit has become the flagship event of the NC Youth Giving Network.
