Partners

The North Carolina Youth Giving Network is made possible through the tremendous support, advocacy, promotion, and partnership of the following organizations and agencies:

STATEWIDE PARTNERS

These are the organizations that support the statewide growth and expansion of the North Carolina Youth Giving Network. Thanks to their partnership, the NCYGN has 19 programs operating, from Wilkes County in the West to New Hanover County in the East, and from Cleveland County in the South to Northampton County in the North!

North Carolina Commission on Indian Affairs - our first statewide youth organization - the program is coordinated by volunteers and chaperones from the North Carolina Commission on Indian Affairs and the eight tribal communities throughout the state. The Commission was created to deal fairly and effectively with Indian affairs; bring local, state and federal resources into focus for the implementation or continuation of meaningful programs for the state's Indian citizens; provide aid and protection for Indians as needs are demonstrate; assist Indian communities in social and economic developments; and promote recognition of and the right of Indians to pursue their cultural and religious traditions.
North Carolina Community Foundation - One of our expansion partners that, through their coordination, have helped established youth philanthropy programs in 8 of the counties that NCCF serves (Vance, Wilkes, Nash/Edgecombe, Northampton, New Hanover, Onslow, and Catawba Counties). The mission of the North Carolina Community Foundation is to enable North Carolinians of all means to make lasting and meaningful contributions to their communities.
Communities In School North Carolina  – Another one of our expansion partners that, through their coordination, have helped established youth philanthropy programs in 4 of the counties that CIS serves (Cleveland, Davidson, Mecklenburg, and Rutherford Counties). The mission of Communities In Schools is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools and other sites to help young people successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.
